Welcome to Argentum Counselling
Online therapy helps you explore, heal and change.
You have arrived on my page because you are looking for a solution to an unbearable situation.
You might feel overwhelmed, sad, or confused like some of my previous clients. Self-help books, podcasts, online support groups, family and friends can no longer help.
You are looking for a real deal that will change things for good. You do not want to waste time and money on unhelpful therapies that do not work for you.
You might feel like you have lost a piece of yourself and are about to break down. You may feel like your life reflects what other people want from you, and it has become a heavy burden that you cannot carry anymore.
Your body might feel that your body is separated from your thoughts, and you can suffer from insomnia, overeating, unexplained angry reactions, panic attacks, and paralysing moods of despair. You may feel increasingly separated from others and hunted by critical thoughts. On the
other hand, it is possible that you are finding yourself in a toxic relationship, and you are unable to say how you arrived here.
Maybe you work shockingly long hours but never feel good enough about your performance. You are afraid of burnout but cannot say "no to unreasonable requests, and you take on more
responsibilities.
It is also possible that on top of everything, you struggle with symptoms of ADHD and/or ASD, and you wish you did not have to mask and pretend like you manage anymore.
Overcome life's challenges with therapy for lasting change and a happier life.
Please book a free-of- charge 20 minutes video session to ask any questions.
I facilitate a safe and comfortable environment for you to access previously unspoken issues.
I listen to your thoughts and feelings empathically and without judgment.
I give you feedback and ask questions to help you explore and express your thoughts and feelings.
Together, we will explore your past and present to understand where the source of your feelings, thoughts, beliefs, and life patterns stems from.
I facilitate for you the process of reconnecting with your core self by working on dreams and phantasies, concentrating on retelling a personal narrative, exploring your art, or/and writing.
I propose explorative exercises around connecting to your inner child and archetypes.
I suggest some Cognitive Behavioural Therapy exercises that can lead you to change your thoughts, beliefs, and actions.
I also work with the body and lead you in somatic exercises, like guided meditation, seeing and sensing here and now, tapping or breathing exercises.

“Edyta is extremely professional in her manner, yet manages to balance her professionalism with a genuine compassion that can be felt in sessions with her. I have found Edyta to be very supportive and understanding and I always feel heard and understood by her. Edyta has been helping me to understand my late adhd diagnosis as well as some other personal issues. In my experience, Edyta uses a variety of methods to skilfully find ways to help you overcome the issues that you bring to her. I admire how Edyta has not been afraid to take on more complex issues, like some more risk adverse therapists, I have met in the past. ”
“I'll start with 10/10, 5 stars. Edyta is fantastic. She really listens. I feel safe to speak freely, without judgement. Therapy is having a profoundly positive effect on my life and that is because of Edyta”

I offer a FREE 20-30 consultation phone call or online session so that you can ask questions, and I can assess your needs. I can talk you through the counselling process and what to expect, and you can then decide if you want to proceed to therapy.
If you decide to work with me I offer online therapy via Skype.
Cost £60.00 per session.
During your first session, I conduct an in-depth assessment where I ask questions about the difficulties and challenges you face and your therapy goals, including asking questions about your family life (current and past), habits, interests, work life and medical history.
Further sessions are based on agreed times and dates. I may sometimes ask you to paint or draw or undertake tasks or homework as part of my work is experienced in working with dreams (dream diaries), fantasies and active imagination. Your final session is an opportunity to do an exit assessment and get feedback on what worked effectively.
